Call of Duty 4 - The game to rival Halo 3 this autumn

So many games get labelled with being Halo beaters on the Xbox, but Call of Duty 4 is looking to up the ante on FPS games barely weeks after Halo 3 arrived. The magazine says "Physically there is no way it could be any smoother, updating twice as rapidly as key games such as Halo 3 and Project Gotham Racing 4." The issue includes a preview and developer interview, with Infinity Ward explaining "we’ve had as much time with the hardware as anybody".
