148apps - Liqua Pop is a luscious game to look at. It’s bright and attractive to play along with and it evokes a soothing atmosphere, even with its mildly distracting drip dropping sound effects. It doesn’t really feel like it offers much new to the Match Three genre however, plus it’s a bit pricier than many other games within the genre.
Trendy Gamers: Liqua Pop is a very tough game to review. On one hand, it is a very basic game of combining colored bubbles to help a frog up a tree. On the other hand, it is a very relaxing game that looks gorgeous and just puts a smile on your face. Luckily, the relaxing nature overwhelmed the basic gameplay and I ended up enjoying it quite a bit.
Absorbing to look at and play, Liqua Pop bursts what fun there is by turning the pressure too high.
