Marooners' Rock Review: Beyond Good & Evil HD (XBLA)

Lindsey writes: "Most gamers who played the original Beyond Good & Evil back in 2003 have fond memories of it. I was never one of those individuals. I can recall seeing the cases on the shelves inside the GameStops I worked at, but the game never appealed to me. There was something about it that led to me having zero interest in ever playing it, and it was only until the recent House Part XBLA announcement where any desire piqued. Hearing about the HD version and the updates, I wanted to get my hands on it and see what all the fuss was about. Sadly, I ended up sorely disappointed and almost rage-quitting many, many times."

Baaaddddd review. It's one thing to say that a game isn't for you, but don't give it a bad score just because it doesn't meet your tastes. For example, Little Big Planet doesn't appeal to me and I would never play it or buy it, but I'm not gonna give it a 40/100 just because it's not for me, I'm sure there are people that like it, just not me.

If you knew you weren't going to like it, why did you play through it and review it? Of course that's going to influence your review one way or another.
The game is classic. It holds up great.

Rage quitting this game?? Sorry Moroners' Don't Rock, you suck. The game is great, don 't give this site hits and don't pass this gem up. Don't let this review sway one way or the other. The game is good times. Was then, and still is now.
