I laughed hard at some parts of it. Nolan North is the perfect choice for voicing Drake in the game and the dialogues are already looking better than Uncharted 2. All the more excited.

"We're trapped, there's no way out... *Sees satirs* ... Spoke too soon..."

"Does that guy have a steel cup? I shot him in the d!ck like 8 times!"

"Sully, how are you doing that?" *Sully glitching floating*

"Sully where are you?" "Right here." *Sully glitch appears* "AHHHH"

Aither2598d ago

Drake shoots door.. "Ahh, I hate that door."

As sully crosses beam.. "Sully are you drunk?"

crxss2597d ago

Oh the hilarity. Can't wait to play this game day and night.

OneSneakyMofo2597d ago

Man, I'm so excited for this game.

rockleex2597d ago

I always knew there was something special about Sully.

Apparently, his mustache allows him to fly! :D

Yeah there really is a lot of work that goes into these games we love... and they are doing an Amazing Job.. Can't wait for this..

Looks like it's going to be Awesome.. Those outtakes were too funny, wish they could leave some of those in the game... would be priceless..

Like when sully crosses the beam.. Drake says, "Sully are you drunk?"

I am so sick of mr I only do myself in video game vo work.

Let me enter into evidence, exhibits

A. Darkvoid
B. Assassins creed 2

The dude has one speed, himself. Dude, he ruined both games for me. I couldn't get into them because all I could hear is drake. I hate north as a vo actor.

Muitnorts2598d ago

I don't think that's his fault really, he can be a great voice actor. In Ratchet ACIT he wasn't even recognisable as himself.
I'd say most of those games are down to the directors trying to capture the Uncharted magic.

rdgneoz32598d ago

He's been in a ton of roles, and in many you can't even tell its him. Its all up to the directors / script.

As for his roles...

ExplosionSauce2597d ago (Edited 2597d ago )

That's BS dude!
You only say that because his voice is unique and easily recognizable in a few games.

You've probably played many other games that had him in there too, but didn't realize it because he does a great job.

Thanks for the vid. I liked his work in Ratchet&Clank: ACIT. Didn't notice it was him until I saw the credits.

tack1292598d ago (Edited 2598d ago )

He doesn't always play himself you know. In Rachet and Clank ACiT he did VO and wasn't recognised and in one of the interviews of Uncharted 2 he displayed an array of accents which weren't his.

I'm pretty sure you should blame it on the directors and producers of those games as they WANT him to sound like Drake, not him. If you were to ask him to say it in a different accent then he would do so with no difficulty.

SLEDGE2598d ago

Who did he voice in R&C?

tack1292598d ago

He voiced Sigmund in the game.

And you'll be surprised to hear that he also voiced Richtofen in Call of Duty Black Ops.

You should check out his page, you'll be surprised how many VOs he did.

PS360PCROCKS2598d ago

wow, damn he does a lot of work! I never knew that at all, he's been in everything.

turgore2597d ago

It wasn't as bad as in MAfia 2 where he voiced 2 pedestrians who were talking to each other...

ExplosionSauce2597d ago

Haha, that was just terrible directing.
They had him voice two guys at the same time. And when the two characters say goodbye to each other, the animations don't change. They don't move, they just stand there doing movements like they're still talking.

SwampCroc2597d ago

Yeah... Assassin's Creed came out the same year as Uncharted... he was in both... He was Hades in God of War...

the guy isn't new to the experience.. tons of work under his belt.

it's all how the director directs their actors.

SwampCroc2597d ago

how can you disagree???? these are facts... actual truths... these are the games he was in...

and without a director an actor is useless....

SwampCroc2596d ago (Edited 2596d ago )

obviously no one here has acted before...

hence why actors are titled actors because they ACT.... whether it's just voice or actual footage... whether it is scripted or improv...

hence why directors are titled directors because they DIRECT.... whether it's in front of the camera or behind the camera. the Director directs the Actor/Actress on what to do during the current scene....

basics people basics.....

stevenhiggster2597d ago

That's just stupid, its like saying you can't watch any Tom Cruise movie cause all you can think of is Maverick!
The guys an actor, actors don't change face for every movie, why should he have to change his voice for every game?

starcb262597d ago

How does it feel to have 62 disagrees?

shuuwai2597d ago

He's also in Mar.Vs.Cap 3. The the cool part is that you won't know which characters are using his voice in the game.

I heard it's Deadpool, Hulk and 2-3 more but i don't know which one.
