DC Universe Online March content update detailed, bringing Two-Face

XMNR: The first content update for DC Unvierse Online for the PS3 and PC in February added a new Catwoman mission along with a seasonal Valentine-themed Cupid update as well as additional content like a big fight in the Batcave. Some of this was well liked while others were not. So what does Sony Online Entertainment have planned for March? Two of the developers held an online chat session to drop the details and we've got it down here.

Looks like soe is keeping their word with monthly content updates. The more raids they release the more people can do so thats cool.

probably too late, they released the game way too early. the Bugs that are STILL abundant throughout the game have caused most people to already cancel their subscriptions.

lol, nice stealth troll but you can't cancel a subscription. Once you pay for one month, three, six, whatever...you can't cancel. You have no evidence of anything.

DCUO is such an enjoyable game, and a breath of fresh air for me in terms of MMO's. The combat makes a HUGE different in the enjoyment factor for me. I've never been a big fan of the "Press button > Execute attack > Wait forever for cool down > Rinse and Repeat" style of combat in other MMO's.

I've played WoW, City of Heroes/Villains, Guild Wars, Conan, etc, and I'm enjoying DCUO more than all of them.

My free month is over, and I've renewed for month two. My wife is loving the game as well, and she's playing on my account until we get our second PS3 repaired, and we can play together.

Overall, the core game play and universe of DCU is really well done. I wasn't expecting much from the game, to be honest, but when I got to play it at E3 2010, then got into the beta, we both got addicted to it. It's a great game to just hop on, play a few missions, then quit, or even playing for long periods. You always feel this incentive to just "do a few more quests," so you can get some new skills/powers/loot.

If the combat wasn't so fun, I probably wouldn't be as into the game as I am. I loved City of Heroes, but the combat just wasn't impactful enough considering that you were supposed to be a superhero. Having to wait until level 14 in order to get flight, super speed, teleportation, and super jump was really lame, especially when it took AGES to reach Level 14.

You can go from Level 1-9 in practically one 5 hour game play session in DCUO. It's a surprisingly fast paced game for an MMO.
