Why you should NEVER trade-in your games

Major retailers like Amazon and GameStop offer less value for your used games than you could get by selling them yourself online. To make matters worse, they then charge more to buy pre-owned titles than they cost elsewhere! Take a look at these trade-in values in comparison to their prices on eBay. (Culture, Industry)

Unless you must go for a complete or gold edition right?

No because that still wouldn't help you. Let's say you wanted to trade in a game for credit towards a Gold Edition only sold at GameStop. You would get $25 in credit for the game. But if you sold the game yourself, you could get $35 in cash. You could then put this $35 in cash towards the Gold Edition anyway. There's literally no reason to EVER trade a game in.

You got to trade in sometimes like in RE5, the Gold works with move while the original does not right? Well I guess you could always sell , but I like to trade.
