VGChartz plays the newly revealed BurgerTime HD on the GDC floor and reports back to us their first impressions on the retro reboot by MonkeyPaw Games. The game is apparently arriving on digital download platforms on Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC later this year.
From the PlanetXbox360 feature list:
"Chances are it’s heating up where you live, making a little gaming time in air-conditioned comfort all the more attractive. While Microsoft has yet to announce 2011‘s ‘Summer of Arcade” slate, the Xbox LIVE Arcade game release schedule is starting to fill up already. The next few months boast a mix of updated classics and anticipated new titles. Try out these upcoming XBLA releases to fill up your gaming afternoons this summer."
Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale
Trine 2
Torchlight 2
Really looking forward to those titles. Currently playing Outland and Gatling Gears. Both are amazing and Pure Gaming Goodness™
Just bought Rez HD last night. Why I waited so long I have no idea but it is among the best games I have played in quite some time. If any game was pure art this one is it.
There many DLC titles I am looking forward but with all the great games coming out and recently released their names escape me at the moment.
Isn't From Dust supposed to be coming out this summer? I'm really looking forward to that one.
MonkeyPaw Games has announced that the videogaming return of Burger King's famous international mascot, The Burger King, will not be limited to North America. The Burger King will be featured in an expansive Downloadable Content (DLC) pack for the upcoming retro revamp BurgerTime HD, slated to hit Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, Nintendo’s WiiWare service and PC in summer 2011 both in the US and Europe. The DLC will be free once gamers make required purchases of BK food items in the ‘Summer of Yum’ promotion.
Siliconera writes "The original game designed by Data East was simple enough. Playing as Peter Pepper, you climb ladders and drop ingredients (the bun, beef patty, green vegetable stuff, and tomatoes) to create a hamburger while dodging Mr. Hot Dog who was probably a lobbyist from the hot dog industry."
