Dead Island Is a Decade’s Worth of Zombie Games in One

Kotaku: There is blood on the wall, a smear that drags down to the floor, bits of hair swaying gently in the breeze. I notice it not in the game booting up on the computer, but from my vantage sitting in a mock bamboo and straw cabana in an office tucked away in the Mascone Center.

The story is too old to be commented.

I am fairly excited about this game. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a Disappointment.

And i was this to be a serious, survival horror game. I don't need Tons of Ammunition (Left4Dead) or funny stuff (Dead Rising). I loved both those games but i want a Zombie movie type of experience.

yeah so do I. Zombie games need to make the player as if they were truly trying to survive. Most of them today are just normal shooters with just zombie enemies.

I tried Yakuza of the end today, although it doesn't supply any of that it does have a good story to go along with it, i suggest anyone to download it and give it a try, pretty good game considering Yakuza series always have a great story.

I like how the dev who is quoted notes "21 Days Later zombies." If you're going to cite a zombie movie as inspiration then get the damn name right.

This game is starting to look like what Resident Evil 5 should have been. It's like a perfect blend of the old Resident Evil games and Dead Rising.
