GameInformer April Cover Revealed – Saints Row: The Third

GameInformer: "While the original Saints Row felt familiar to fans of the open-world crime genre, its sequel separated itself from the pack with almost cartoonish over-the-top action. Whether you were chainsawing elderly people in half or spraying a pool party down with a poop truck, the franchise was clearly heading in its own direction. Saints Row: The Third takes things a step forward as the most insane installment yet, and it's our April cover."

Same, I love this series. My girl played SR1 all the way until SR2 came out and she is still playing SR2 to this day.

I never played the first one. But man did I have fun with SR2. Though according to the cover it looks like the main character is going to be Johnny Gat instead of being able to create your own person... Kinda dissapointing if that turns out to be true. *cough* Dragon age*cough*

like how just cause 2 biggest free-roam map in the history of free-roam games.

Saints row 3 may includes greater features than alot that was in the gta franchise. However gta V may comeback with in-depth things especially if they let u create your character for a epic story.

GTA will NEVER have a character creator for the main plot. That would make for a really lame experience. Imagine if past GTA's had a character creator. It would have been pretty ridiculous to play San Andreas as a skinny white guy or GTA IV as a fat mexican dude with a British accent. That's the kind of absurdity you get in a game like Saints Row and that's what makes it such a shallow experience.

A character creator would completely ruin the plot and would automatically make your character's potential dialogue very limited since they would have to record several voice tracks.
