Being a warthog driver in Halo Reach is a thankless task. You have the hardest job, the fewest rewards, and will most likely die in a fiery crash…alone. It takes skill to drive around turns at 60mph dodging rockets, grenades and staying clear away from tanks. For the driver of the warthog, your only reward is a wheelman medal, or a wheelman spree if you’re really good. But you won’t get any kills, just assists. Warthog drivers do what they do for one reason, because they love to drive. They know it won’t end well, they know that their gunner will bail out at the first sign of danger, but they keep driving, because it’s what they are made to do.
