Rare NES Game Stadium Events Has Asking Price of $500,000

We’ve seen collectors pay quite a pretty penny for rare games from the past. Just last year we saw a copy of the famed Stadium Events on the NES sell for $41,300. While that’s a lot for any collector to pay, someone out there is asking for quite a bit more. The owner of a factory sealed copy of Stadium Events has listed theirs for sale on ebay for the asking price of $500,000.

If I had the money, I would buy this, and open it and send pictures of it to the person who sold it.

I don't think he'd care since he'd already have the money, but I for one would commend you for doing so. I understand the purpose of collecting rare games for their value, but video games were meant to be played, not stored in a plastic case.

Yeah, if this trend is true, does that mean un-opened PSX and PS2 games are going to be worth six figures in the future? If so, I need to go find some old mom and pop game stores to buy some old games.

Even if I was rich I still would not pay that much for a game.
