Missing in Action – Lost Odyssey

What you’re about to read through isn’t a review in the conventional sense, it’s more of a guide to a game that you might have not played recently simply because it got bad reviews or it didn’t get enough publicity. These games will be our personal choices of games we believed to be either quite good contrary to the general review consensus or games that just didn’t sell very well. Our third entry in this series is the early Xbox 360 RPG, Lost Odyssey.

Still vote this as one of the best JRPGs to gen. Absolutely adore this game and should go back and play it some more.

Kalowest2460d ago (Edited 2460d ago )

^Agreed, I put over 80hrs into this game, and i still haven't beaten it yet. LO is one of the best RPGs of this gen.

@gamingdroid Play all 3, but save the best for last LO.

I'm completely new to JRPG. Should I play Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon or Final Fantasy XIII?

Got to finish Bulletstorm and Fable 3 first though, oh and complete NG2 Mission Modes.

iamtehpwn2460d ago

Play all 3.
But Lost Odyssey is definitely the better game out of 3.

klado2460d ago

Shame though, the last story bombed so hard, this guy, creator of another falling franchises is better yet out.

Blue Dragon felt better but this one was the most complete RPG this generation.

baodeus2459d ago (Edited 2459d ago )

yeah i put +100 hrs into this game (still haven't got everything yet), damit and i miss a couple of the dream story (it just so much more effective than CGI could ever hope to get you aquainted w/ your characters, especially kaim. Great characters and so down to earth.)

Best JRPG this gen for me as well. Going back to play it again, but starting at level 50, hehehe, just want to complete the dream sequences and get some ultimate rings and weapons. For pacing could put some people off (but hey JRPG take patient right?), but man, everything is on disc 4 (it feels like half of the game are on disc 4).

It is so cheap now to, if people like traditional JRPG, i don't see why they wouldn't love LO.

Still very disappointed that I didn't get to Finish this before my 360 died. It's my fault, I stop playing it for a game. Idk which game it was but I rented it and then later on bought it. I think it was valkrie chronicles. ( idk if spelled it right )

Still veryfun game. Also a very long ass game

turnerdc2460d ago

Beat the game. LOVED IT! First JRPG I've played in a while that I really enjoyed. I'm still waiting for part 2! Hurry up and bring it Mystwalker!

Umbrella Corp2460d ago

This game was amazing the best JRPG on the 360 hands down!
