Video Games are Definitely Art

Despite of Roger Ebert’s journal entries and many other highly respected attempts at convincing people that videogames aren’t art, it is in my opinion highly difficult to argue that games can in no way be considered an art form. Not only do games have a potential for artistic expression, but hear me out and I’ll present some reasons to why games also give developers and artists unique artistic opportunities.

I don't know, he gave Ocean's Eleven two thumbs up, so the man has certainly got something right. I think he's thinking about videogames as toys, though. And not like an interactive media. He should watch Extra Credits on the Escapist.
