I am long since done with WoW but when I was playing and raiding heavily those were among my favorite instances.

I think its very cool that Bliz went back and revamped all old world stuff in such a big way. I think most MMO devs kind of abandon all the old content and keep churning out new areas, you just end up with ghost towns very empty zones.

The cool thing about Blizzard's revamp is that they most of the time bring new mechanics into it.

Also, what is the great fun in having old raids sitting around for no one to actually use?

Kudos to Blizzard for updating their outdated content and making it accessible for their userbase that didn't play through Vanilla.

Although they may never have the same "omg-it's-new" feeling oldschoolers had, it's great fun to see some of the first released instances.
