GameArena: Killzone 3 review

Though a tad short coming in at around 6 hours, Killzone 3 is an exhilarating thrill ride, gloriously presented with a solid control scheme behind it. The minor let downs were a few audio sync issues, the occasional stutter and the incredibly crap afterthought of vertical split-screen local co-op only, which boggles the mind. It could have been the ultimate co-op campaign, but instead feels extremely tacked on at the last minute.

Very nice to see another great score at this point. Picking up my copy tomorrow when I go into work, peace!

It's really solid and looks fantastic. The multi is pretty damned sweet as well. I don't know what all these haters are on about, and I'm by no means a Sony fanboy.

I've played it a few hours and its good so far... I'm loving it more than Black Ops! But I gotta beat the game and play a lot more multiplayer matches before I can give my true opinion about KZ3.

One thing that does bug me is the load time... But so far no lag.

Killzone 3 is phenomenal! That is that. Out of all the junk fps that have saturated the market this gen, this one gets it right. I was floored when I finished my 1st session last night. The single player is jaw dropping. I laugh when people give scores of 9 and 10 to halo, cod and the abortion that is bulletstorm and never deduct points for story, which they all lack solid ones. No, it's al about the multiplayer with them games. Yet no one hardly even mentions it on killzone 3 reviews.

It is as if they hyped the game up so much that the only way left to go was down. I say to those who chose to listen to them reviews, you missed out.

Also of note, why do you all want long, drawn out games? It ends when it ends. Would any of you sit in a theater for 10 hours watching a movie? Why would you expect to play the same damn game for anything longer than 5 to 10 hours? Isn't that redundant? Doesn't it get old?

I beat KZ2 for the 1st time of playing it ever in a bout 7 hours and 30min. I thought it took me closer to 12 of 13 hours because I played it over the course of a week and a half. Stop begging for longer games. The longer the game, the more gameplay will suffer, not to mention the story.

Yeah man the single player is intense. I have to say this Killzone 2 is inferior shit compared to 3 and i liked 2 :/
