Yeah this game just looks silly. My favorite wrestling game was wwf warzone and wcw vs. nwo.

BattleAxe4808d ago

After Stone Cold and The Rock left, wrestling went downhill fast.

BLAKHOODe4808d ago

Yes, people still buy these games. A LOT of people still buy these games, just as WWE has sold out arenas week after week all around the country, around the world. It is a global phenomenon that people WATCH, people INVEST in, and people LOVE. Take a peek out from underneath the rock you're living under every now and then and get with the NOW.

cochise3134808d ago

Someone is a fan. I'm just asking a question no need to get offensive.

StitchJones4809d ago

CM Punk is NOT an all-star. And no, no one buys these games anymore. It's a waste to even bother developing them.

captain-obvious4809d ago (Edited 4809d ago )

if you think that CM Punk is not a star then you know nothing about Wrestling
i hate to tell you but CM punk is not new in the business not at all
he has been in it for a long time

I just want to make sure that you know wrestling is fake right? CM Punk doesn't have the talent that guys like The Rock, Tripple H and Stone Cold have. It doesn't matter how many titles CM Punk has had, he's just not of the same caliber as the wrestlers that used to be with the WWE. What I'm talking about is their presence in the ring, and on the mic. Also I miss Stone Cold's skits that he used to do, they were awesome.

captain-obvious4808d ago

yah i know and i agree
but i think he is still great
and i think he deserves as much respect as those wrestlers that you talked about

BattleAxe4808d ago

LoL, I guess that judging from the dissagrees I got that some people actually believe that wrestling is real. Thats pretty scary lol

BLAKHOODe4808d ago

CM Punk is one of the best heel characters to come along in years. Not only is the guy one of the most technically efficient performers in WWE right now, but one of the greatest talkers in the business today.

Someone brought up he's not as good as The Rock, Triple H and Stone Cold. Well, how good would The Rock be if there was NO Triple H or Stone Cold? How good would Stone Cold been without The Rock? In today's WWE, CM Punk is in a very lonely class of superstars where few can compete at his level. Had he came along in the days of The Rock and Stone Cold, he would be their equal.

I played a ton of smackdown 1+2 on PSX

WCW/NWO World Tour and Wrestlemania 2000 were peak wrestling games. Back when wrestling was at the top of pop culture, everyone in school would watch. The gameplay is phenomenal and create your own characters opened up the door to WCW vs WWF. What a time!

nevin1694d ago

WCW/ NWO Revenge and Here Comes The Pain were haven't been beaten.

I was always partial to the arcade wrestling games like Saturday night slam masters, wwf superstars, wrestlefest, wrestlemania, wrestle war and then a NES classic... pro wrestling. By the time the N64 era of wrestling games happened, I wasnt into wrestling much anymore (tv & games).

It was all about the Starman Somersault or the Tiger Claw!

Fist4achin826d ago

Starman was awesome. I also remember a tan dude with bright yellow hair. Good times!
