Another Sony exclusive? This is Sony's year.

Never played the Yakuza games, only the demo's. Is it just me though or does the game just feel really dated in comparison to anything else that's been out in recent years.

The graphics are muddy and the fighting is nothing new

I can understand what most folks mean when they say that it looks and feels outdated.

Maybe that's one of the reasons why I dig the game so much... aside from it's incredibly good story and characters.

There's a total sense of badassery going on in the Yakuza games, not to mention plain ridiculous fun and endless amounts of things to do.

I'll take this "outdated" game over most of the modern rehashed crap anyday.

The Yakuza demos never do the game justice. The Demo only displays some of the fighting aspects. However the game delivery’s a rich story , deep characters and fantastic culture… and some of fantastic head bashing the like that the demo will never show.

it's just that the demos are very bad in teh sense that don't let you understand the scope of the main game.

Y4 demo was really painfull by how limited every character was ...

I tried the demo for the third game and kept getting my ass kicked , it's not the most polished game, and the controls could have been better. But this one looks better.

how its made up is that you have to level up your character and learn new moves(full game), I barely got hit at all and the finishers were very brutal and satisfying. This is definitely one of those love it or hate it games just like Yakuza 3.
