A new trailer for Homefront. It's quite strange.
Interesting, Ima pick this up but later on after the reviews are out.
Still on the fence about this one. I will also have to wait for the reviews to see how it actually pans out.
LoL... nice commercial, I want to get this game but I need some reviews first.. I just don't know.. -but from what I see it looks pretty interesting.. .____........___...____ .____||......||.......____|| ||.........___||.......____||
Wow, kinda cheesy failed attempt at marketing.
Hell, if something like that happened where I live, I seriously wouldn't know what to do. The game's story does seem interesting, so I'll probably pick it up for the story. The multi-player seems like a nice mix as well.
I went from wanting this game, to it falling off of my radar entirely, and now I am back to kind of wanting it again. There is just something about it that makes me want to give it a shot. I think it is just for the experience of playing through a story of an occupied America that intrigues me. Plus, I went back and watched some of the multiplayer footage and it actually looks really fun. I still may pick this one up yet.
I am hoping for a demo, even of just the single player to see how it really plays, not just looks.
I forgot to mention, that trailer is pretty damn intense. Just imagine being outside, enjoying a nice day and then all of the sudden that shit happens.
The question is... Why Salt Lake City?
The effects themselves are meh but I like the Cloverfield style.
The Mormon community is going to have a field day with this.
No WE won't and if certain Mormons do they need to chill out. Not all of us our crazy fanatics.
I didn't mean to offend. Nor was I saying that it would be wrong of them to be mad. Why would they depict Utah getting blown up if it wasn't to get people angry? The developers of this game are stupid.
IMO, it's probably to create the idea that nobody is safe. Most people in middle America or small town America feel "safe" in knowing that if there IS some attack it will be on a major city like LA or NY and not Salt Lake City, Utah.
Maybe this guy should contact Insomniac on how to do a live footage for their game.
