Farewell Bizarre Creations: 1994-2011

Project Gotham holds special memories especially for those who were there at the beginning of Xbox and Xbox LIVE's life. It was a racing game which showed what the original Xbox could do. With Project Gotham 2 this opened up a whole new world with online capabilities and soon became a huge hit, Project Gotham 3 became a launch title for the Xbox 360 and again a revolutionary title which showed the capabilities of the Xbox 360.

They made 2 of the most unappreciated games this gen - The Club and Blur. R.I.P.

yeah, The Club was underrrated but it was arcade style game that was on the wrong generation for that sort of thing

it was one of the first demos I downloaded when I first got my PS3 and I had it on the HDD for months to show people what this gen could graphically

They made excellent games that for some reason didn't appeal to the wider audiences. I hope some publisher picks up most of the remaining devs and creates a new studio.

There been a lot of developers gone to the wall. Its us at the end of the day to support the developers and its up to the developers to make great games and push the bar even higher in the gaming world...

PG3 was one of my first titles for the 360 and online play. I had days & days of fun with the RUF and "Cat & Mouse". PG3 was a fantastic 1st gen game, and I miss playing games.

Yeah geometry wars was a great game maybe they should have kept it exclusive the second one didnt sell so hot. Its like dead rising console exclusivity is the one thing they had going for them. Once that wow factor is gone from it not being exclusive anymore it dies. You can see how lost planet and dead rising sold like 2 mill each on 360. Once they went multi they were a big flop. Sometimes the hype of a exclusive game can carry it but when thats gone people lose interest in it.

I think the FF games have issues all their own. FF 14 online is so bad they still cant charge people for it yet because the game isnt done. Its like they are having some bobby kotik issues over there or something.

I feel for the developers (people) who will now have to uproot their families and move elsewhere looking for work.

I don't think there is much else around Liverpool that can take a huge bunch of talented developers.

A few will no doubt have to leave the country... more losses for the UK games dev industry.
