It’s one of the biggest complaints gamers level at developers these days – that games are too linear. The word is almost used to describe a sin, or a regrettable attribute. If a game is too “linear”, it’s seen as another reason to avoid it.
Over the last 25 years, there has been a fair few South Park games, and here GameSpew has ranked them all from best to worst.
We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Real talk. Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Mario Galaxy, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Solid 4 (linear in terms of going from point A to B),....most of this generations best games have been linear. And they have the best stories too it seems.
Correction.
Linear "story driven" games are not a sin. I'd rather a solid single player linear game than an open world mess.
