Siliconera: One feature new to the series in Rune Factory Oceans is that you can ride on the back of a giant, Ymir, and explore the waters surrounding Finis Island. As you do this, you’ll be able to discover other islands.

$6 is a steal for Deadly Premonition, even if it is a sub standard port of the 360 game. Pick it up, you'll be entertained one way or the other.
The PS3 version of Deadly Premonition:Director's Cut is an enhanced expanded port from the original 360 version. The original 360 version was roundly panned for it's terrible controls,graphics, dialog was called the worst game ever by some. Some found it fun like watching a really bad B-Movie. The PS3 version fixes it's many glitches and it runs and controls better with a DS3 and the newly included PS Move controls. At $6 it's certainly worth a buy and you'll get a some laughs from this and is the Definitive version.
Rune Factory Oceans sees players take control of both Aden and Sonja, lifelong best friends living a peaceful existence on a small island. However, one day they awaken to find themselves afflicted by an ancient curse, with Sonja trapped inside Aden’s body. What’s more, they appear to be trapped in a parallel dimension, with a now unrecognisable version of the island they know and love. The Electronic Theatre Imagestory is delivered in the typically eastern anime manner, with corny characters and touching emotional statements lying around every corner. It’s sickeningly quaint pitch does already have an expansive audience willing to lap it up – especially on the PlayStation 3 – but for some the forceful nature of the cutesypie design may be too much of a barrier to break.
The famous last lines from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner ‘Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink’ sum up my experience reviewing Rune Factory: Oceans. A game stocked full of ideas and gameplay styles but sadly unable to give a worthwhile experience insisting that the sheer number of ideas alone crammed into the game will carry it to success.
Rune Factory: Oceansis a sister series to the Harvest moon games of the past ten years and has graced the NDS, Wii and has now been ported to the PS3.The game starts with our hero Azel and heroine Sonia starting a new day on Finis island to be transported (randomly) to an alternate Finis island in the future, (Or is it the past?) and in the process our duo have been declined two bodies and now have to both inhabit Azel’s body (even more random). The new island is inhabited with a host of new NPCs and places to explore.
Is this really for PS3? CAUSE I LOVE RUNE FACTORY!!!
