6 cool Minecraft mods

Minecraft was one of the indie darlings of 2010, and a phenomenal sleeper hit for the developer Markus ‘Notch’ Persson.

Currently in beta, with a multiplayer mode being tested, the game is still drawing in newcomers, and already has a solid community of modders supporting the game.

MyGaming has identified six cool mods that will revitalise the Minecraft experience.

I'm kind of Mindcrafted out until he hopefully adds some sort of objective based content to the game. My understanding is that he wants to add randomized towns/NPCs/quests/etc that will actually give people something to do as opposed to digging their 500th hole in the middle of nowhere and spending hours looking for diamond.

There is two new modes coming, Adventure mode and Zombie Hunt mode.

I was doing a 64x64 texture pack, but now I see there's 128x128! Gonna look so clean!

And then the minimap + waypoints mod is stu-PENDOUS.

And the MrMessiah mod... Ah
And to think, was playing vanilla a week ago.
This greatly improves my game time.
