Portal 2 Now Available To Pre Order

Coming this spring to four major platforms (PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Mac) and now available to pre order - Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following. (PC, Portal 2, PS3, Xbox 360)

Still not up on Steam. You'd think that would be the first place it would be available for pre-order.

I might end up getting Portal 2 for my Ps3. You get cross platform gaming and a free copy of the PC version if you buy the Ps3 version right?

Same reason I'm getting it for PS3. Linking my Steam and PSN accounts results in a free Portal 2, I think this is pretty much a no brainer.
$54.99 with release date shipping (and a $5 promotional credit) means I get PS3 and PC Portal 2 for a sweet $49.99, just $5 more for just the PC version.

Man I wish they had a collectors edition for this game. I would buy it straight away.

Would could they of put for a Collectors Edition though, a replica Portal Gun? Hold on! :O
Lamarthedancer  +   1562d ago
Yeah, it would never happen though, even if it was pricey I would get it still buy it.

Your right though I don't know what they could put in.

Imagine if it came in a good size Companion Cube tin box :D

Even though I enjoyed the heck out of Portal I just can't see myself Paying $60.00 for Portal 2 alone.

Bundled together with the Half Life games it was a great addition, by it's self, Not so much.

but really can't wait tho i wish they would stop avoiding the subject and make half life 3 already

If your a Portal fan the best value is to get the PS3 version.

You get 3 copies of the game for the price of one.
(PS3/PC/Mac)

Has all the same features across the board and offers cross platform play between PS3/PC/Mac users.

I've yet to try out Portal.
(I'm gonna try a demo of it on Steam and see how I like it.)

Played many Valve games just never got around to playing Portal for some strange odd reason.
:P

I agree that it's a better value than the 360 version but at the same time it's still just one game.

kinda like buying a blu-ray and getting a DVD and digital copy, the majority of people won't have any use for the other 2 copies.

That said I will support the PS3 version over the 360 version because of the reasons you listed BUT
I still don't think it's worth $60.00 so I'll wait until it drops in price.
