MMGN: L.A. Noire Preview

In post-war Los Angeles, the glitz and glamour of Tinsel Town briskly radiated its alluring glow around the globe. The economic boom of the late 1940s accommodated an influx of hopefuls and has-beens with stars in their eyes. Amidst the indulgence and luxurious lifestyles of Hollywood’s elite, a disconcert aggregation of war veterans plagued the streets of the blooming city, unable to assimilate into the compelling yet troubling world that now surrounded them; despite the city’s fascinating aura, a dark, corrupt side compromised the city’s values, dictating an aggressive authoritarian approach the LAPD still abides by to this day. In L.A. Noire, we experience a city desperate for guidance, amidst an influx of the young, rich and vulnerable.
