Mortar strikes have gotten me some awesome multi-kills. I love those things. Unfortunately people are catching on and are stealing my mortar beacons >:(

I think only tactitians should be able to use them.

At first when I got a mortar beacon I thought I was the only one that knew. Now people wait for me too capture TSPs to steal them

I used to pick them up stealthily so no one else would see it :P

I love reigning death on the enemy as they are usually confused and have no idea how they die.

Multi-kill chirping sounds are the best feelings of gratification I get.

They definitely need to let only Tactitians use them. It seems best fit towards them anyway. I also think infiltrators should be able to steal enemy beacons

I like being tactician,and i loved using the M82 esp in Killzone 3 but the M82 isn't as great as before,I've been using marksman because the STA-52 caters as my better weapon in this game.I wish we could choose which assault rifles we wanted to use because I really like being a tactician :(

Haha i loved only knowing about them at 1st, you could tell people were like "wtf was that and how do i get one?" lol.. now more people know and you go to pick it up and its gone :(

Although this review was pretty spot on, the beta/multiplayer in killzone 3 is fantastic, it's actually like a breath of fresh air for me right now.. and this is another reason it deserves a solid 9 score at the very least.

Mortar isn't a Perk. You pick it up when you capture the spawn point next to that area. Any tactition can do this and any member of his team can pick it up once captured... Of course this means you need a tactition to actively capture these points and support from his team to do so. Hence team work.

Killzone doesn't have perks.

It does have perks, you unlock a certain set "all classes" which you can assign one thing to each class be it 'armour' 'extra ammo' 'silent footsteps' and im sure there's another

keep trying, play botzone and then go back and try again. I have been able to play every day like this, though today was the hardest

Only problem is the map is too big for the time limits they have imposed for Warzone rounds.

The problem with the map is that it is heavily biased towards the ISA. They have two immediate spawn points and the middle spawn point is closer to them. The Helghast's spawn points are farther out and take longer to reach.

The map size is fine, but I hate how assassination targets hide deep in their own territory, it makes the mode impossible to win.

Assassination rounds last 60 seconds or so. On a map that size with only 12 v 12 you need longer. 60 seconds is just a joke.

Yeah, I agree. Thing is, when Assassination happens my immediate plan is to capture a close spawn point but by that time the Assaasination game is over. It's too easy to win.

Either make the boundaries smaller or increase the win time IMO

you know what i think would be really cool.As each second passes make the boundaries smaller and smaller this would force the assassination target to constantly move around

I disagree, i love assaination.. because im handy with a sniper mostly. The 'red zone' forces them to atleast be in an open part of there there territory so with a sniper you can easily get them through openings and such if your in the right places..

playing with my buddys, everytime its assination i get a "do your stuff lewis(me)" lol.

Sometimes though they will find a corner that just puts them out of the zone but still heavily covered, but it's not often and its nothing running round the opposit way with the infiltrator class cant usually solve.

I think the teamdeath match only game mode needs a longer score limit though, it's always over so fast :(

The Beta has actually been tons of fun and I'm not really a shooter fan although i play a few mainly for SP. But it was surprisingly fun and i also managed to get a buddy of mine into it also and he is also not a big MP shooter fan.

there's always a first time. i'm not a fan of FPS at all. but KZ2 was the only game i picked up because it was just too great to miss. not only did i finish story.. i played online too until i became a general.

no wonder i'll be picking up KZ3 and playing MP.
