AvClub - Dead Space 2 Review

AvClub - Isaac Clarke, the central character from 2008’s Dead Space, is sadistically forced to relive the nightmare he survived in the first game, the same way Ripley does in James Cameron’s Aliens. His oh-no-not-again goal: to cautiously explore yet another haunted house in space all by his lonesome.

The story is too old to be commented.

Probs the lowest score ive seen for Dead Space 2. Im im right, C+ translates to around a 6?

C+ translate to 6.5 to 6.9 out of 10 maximum, a 7.6 to 7.9 would be a B+ making it a average or good game. That's a low score that I personally wouldn't give DS2 b/c I'm a big dead space fan.

if a 7.6 to 7.9 was a B+ then a 8.6 to 8.9 would be A+.

You're off by a full point.

C+ is 7.6. to 7.9.

Duplicate, I posted this a week ago :p

Horrible review but typical for Scott Jones. He's a pretentious, sensationalist troll and has been stinking up Reviews on the Run, Crispy Gamer and now the AV Club for years. He hates all things Sony and apparently great multiplats too.

Btw, this translates to a 58 on metacritic. It posted on the PS3 side a week ago.

Metacritic's letter grade rating translation is the worst of its kind. The fact a C+ is somehow a 58 goes against everything we know about letter grades in the modern world, lol. I seriously doubt that when 1UP etc rate games with letters in mind that they think of the metacritic bizarro scale. Judging by the guesses above, we don't either.

It's hard for me to take any review seriously that's as short as this.
