Someone actually expected to sell Halo 3 for $749

This ebayer is a good example of what greed is doing to our nation. The item ended at $162.50, but the reserve price was NOT met at that price point! There was a Buy It Now option for $749.99. Shipping luckily was free. But the seller later added the disclaimer, that if the bidder won through bidding and not Buy It Now, it was subject to the standard "5-day processing fee." No wonder he didn't sell it. Ridiculous how greedy people are getting these days.

Free market he can attempt to sell it for what ever he wants. If he did sell it for the buy now people would have him on the news and doing silly interviews. Things good and bad go for insane prices in any nation.

You're right, he can sell it for whatever he wants. That doesn't mean it isn't absurd and ridiculous.

that is so ridiculous

edit: my Halo 3 CE just got shipped from newegg in PA via UPS ground. that makes this guy even more of a turd for saying he will ship with 5 days processing time

ShiftyLookingCow3658d ago

the guy sells Bioshock LE for 140 bucks.

ok wow we all know he can't sell whatever the f!ck he wants at what ever the price. YUP GOT IT. I think the point they are trying to convey is that he's an a$$hole.

he needs the money to buy another 360? :o

MrWeymes3657d ago

I haven't been too hyped about Halo 3 for the simple fact that I won't have my 360 back for another few weeks.(it's out for repairs..RROD!!) I doubt that he was trying to buy another 360, though, unless he's a gambling man. He wanted a PS3, as I do.

..but this makes the Legendary edition look like a bargain for $129!
