so many amazing games.

Skyrim will win goty.

I would switch some of the other releases mentioned at the end for few top 10 games on the list. But wow 2011 is going to be probably the best year for gaming.
I would put Infamous 2, Gears Of War 3, Twisted Metal, The Last Guardian on the top 10 but I think the author didn't put them there because some of them probably don't have a clear release date or they are coming out Q3 and Q4 of 2011.

But amazig year and very good list.

Lol Steam sales say hi. Think ill buy just about every game out next year for under 150usd :P

My wallet can't hate me if it knows a little friend I like to call: Steam sales ;)

JsonHenry4823d ago

lol, SAME here man. Thanks to previous steam sales I almost never purchase a new game on release because I have such a backlog of games I am playing now. By the time I am done with them these "new" games will already be on sale again.

With the exception of console exclusives (mostly referring to Sony here) I always get my games on a steam sale now.

My wallet is gonna cry yes indeed. I'm gonna buy Portal 2 on my PS3 just because I have one copy for it and another for my PC

Substance1014823d ago

Hold on a month after portal 2 releases i am sure it will be on sale for around 20-30usd.

So its either paying 60usd and getting both PC and PS3 version. Or you could wait a month and pay about half the money.

I bought Left4dead 2 a month after release and i ended up buying it for 34usd (on steam of course cant get that price on console).

Neckbear4823d ago (Edited 4823d ago )

I'm not touching even half of those- at least not until the inevitable price drops come.

Myst4823d ago

With 180 already spent I may have to really figure out which games I want the most this year.

Kind of a goody story...

On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.

Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.
