PlayStation Future - The Sly Trilogy Review

PSF writes: "Developed by Sucker Punch, the company currently developing the inFamous series, the Sly Cooper series wasn’t a massive hit when first released in the early noughties, despite their solid and refreshing gameplay. Now, on behalf of Sucker Punch Productions, Sanzaru Games have ported all three Sly Cooper titles onto the PS3 – with each title having been remastered in HD, updated with trophies and given full 3D compatibility as well as a few extra PlayStation Move minigames.

But these games weren’t a massive hit in their hay-day, is that perhaps because they are fatally flawed? Or is the whole world missing out on another great Sony exclusive franchise?"

The Sly Trilogy Review | TVL

The Vita Lounge - "The Sly Trilogy (or collection if you’re in North America) has long been rumoured to be on its’ way, with the trilogy being rated by the ESRB a year ago. Being the only PS2 platforming trilogy I hadn’t experienced (Jak and Ratchet took up much of my PS2 era), I was keen to see how well these games played, especially with retrospective eyes, given that my experience with Sucker Punch began with InFamous. Really great review, only sly I have ever played is the most recent entry and I barely played that. But I love free roams so I definitely will get the bundle.

Fantastic. I'm so glad to hear that the game is running well on the Vita.
I really loved Thieves in Time and can't wait for this collection to come out in the States.

Sly Cooper Trilogy Review - STN

STN:

As mentioned I missed the Sly games the first time around and these HD remixes are ideal for gamers like myself to have another go at a reasonable price without using other means and aside from the disappointing cut scenes the overall quality of the Sly Trilogy is well worth a look, especially considering you are getting three full games for the price of one.
