Fans of Bethesda will be relived to hear that Brink is destined to be released on May 17th 2011 in America, and May 20th 2011 in Europe. This comes as very welcome news as many people (including myself) have been eagerly awaiting this game ever since we saw those first gameplay trailers long ago. For those unfamiliar with Brink, here’s the basics. Brink is set in a post-apocalyptic Utopian city known as the “Ark”. The city is embroiled in a war between two sides, the “Resistance” and the “Security”. Both sides are playable and each side has their own, unique storyline. Brink offers extreme customization of both your character, and whatever weapon you decide to use. The weapons and costumes reflect each faction: the Resistance uses scavenged weapon parts and cobbled together armor, while the Security forces uses high-tech weaponry and body-armor. Despite what seems to be a vast technological rift between them, both sides are evenly matched when it comes to fighting it out in the city.
