Wtf is it with this woman's mic? It's like she's talking into a her hand trying to get her voice to the mic.

Wow.
Looks amazing. And that's un-optimized.

Just wait 'til it's optimized. It'll be incredible.

On behalf of Lost Planet, terrible serious w/great potential, make the the next one an On-Line game only, like Socom.
rezzah  +   1260d ago
Game was great and had one of the best Co-op gameplay, I didnt see what ppls problems were with this game.
sjaakiejj  +   1260d ago
"Very flexible and easy to develop for". Guess we won't be seeing the "NGP is hard to develop for, that's why our games look like crap" excuses anymore ^^
StbI990  +   1260d ago
Bah, just Sony showing their experience over the years, that is.

2 weeks? Does anyone know if they had time to optimize the code?
sjaakiejj  +   1260d ago
Code is not optimised until the game is finished.. The reason for this is that it makes the code much harder to read & understand, so its not reasonable to do this consistently.

pretty impressive that graphics like these are acheived on mobile devices. 3DS will only be a gimmick. I don't imagine games cleverly utilizing the 3D capabilities since games are made to be playable when the 3D is turned off as well.
offwhiteazn  +   1260d ago
ppl said that with the wii's controls too but look at super mario galaxy
StbI990  +   1260d ago
No...wii's control = new way at playing videogames, the same for kinect.

3DS's 3D = sry but nothing of the same dual screen or motion control impact at the time it all exploded back then.

3D will be a nifty feature in some case/= all case which was the case for DS and wii at the time as well, nothing to brag here about, doubt 3D will set the 3DS very far from its failure if that was the nintendo's plan to win it all over again ala DS.

nice.

Crazy. I very much doubt I'll get one for the sole reason that I would rather just play the exact same games on a big TV, but still, it looks good. Usually when I have the opportunity to play a mobile game, I can't devote the time and attention to something this serious.
StbI990  +   1260d ago
Can you play the exact same game on the go zZzZ and...while going into a trip? bus? country side hotel?, i believe whoever disagree, doesn't go out their home much...

Also playing on a blackout with the psp at its battery prime + earphones...no console get near that experience.

Imagine just that but with this 5' oled screen?...sry for you loosing such a nice experience.

KingDustero  +   1260d ago
It is rendered in REAL TIME. It really does pay off if one listens.

im all for ps3 ports and all but i just hope sony can get new ips and amazing games come out this handheld. i dont want it to be like psp where they made ps3 ports. i want new games!
remanutd55  +   1260d ago
you mean like Little Deviants and its new way to play games? or like Gravity Daze ? or like Reality Fighters ? or like Smart As ? or like Broken ? , there will be new games but i think sony want to have a stablished franchises from the get go too
offwhiteazn  +   1260d ago
yea i think they're just trying to let everyone know how powerful this lovely piece of hardware is now, and what better way to do this than successfully porting graphically impressive ps3 games?
Omar91  +   1259d ago
this is true
zeddy  +   1260d ago
for a 2 week port it looked great and given some time it might be up there with the ps3/360 version. going to be interesting to see what else they're going to port.
rezzah  +   1260d ago
He stated that the only the geometry is what is different from the orginal game. I did notice this as the feet of the guys in the ship looked a little but like a rectangle...I knwo this since Ive played the original one many times. But he did state that everything remains the same so geometry reduction alone isnt so bad at all.
