looking good. can't wait to download this.
But this game looks like... well a PSN game.
lol It is dumb ass!lol
Try again, Nancy. After you see it in 1080p, I'm sure you'd change your mind. (Maybe not publicly, but a little squirt inside you would certainly shed a tear.)
you realize this is basically a psp port
DUDE FOR PSN DOWNLOAD THIS GAME LOOKS REALLY GOOD A LOT BETTER THAN FATAL ENERTIA 1080P 60FPS TIME TO FEED MY SONY HDTV FOR THIS MONSTER
their working on a new Wipout Game with original tracks on it, but this will DEFINATELY tide me by until it comes....I'm figuring it will be around $20-$30 to download from the PSN which I would gladly pay... How much would you think this would cost?
I just got rid of my 20 gig HDD and replaced it with a 160 gig HDD. I thought I would take awhile, but it only took me like 2 min to change it out and format the disk. Bring on the downloads!!!!
do u mind if i ask how you kept all your data that was on the original 60 gb drive. i dont know how u do it, cuz i wanna upgrade too but i dont know how ur supposed to keep the data.
Some HDD upgrades will come with a serial to USB wire that allows you to back things up...Gamespot did a how to on it a while ago...the PS3 has a backup utility that will transfer your stuff via USB to whatever storage device you have connected...I can't remember what type of file system the PS3 uses (I think it is FAT32, not the normal NTFS...but not positive)...so you may have to formate it first...I think you can do that too through the PS3 just by having it connected via USB... any purchased DLC from the PSN has to be redownloaded, because it is locked on your current drive...you can't transfer or copy that anywhere...but that doesn't cost more money, you just go into your Download list on the store, and redownload it...I think you can only do that like 5 times or something, which seems sort of odd...but that could change in the future... In either case...this game looks exactly like what I hoped...better, but not changing too much from the originals...can't wait...the 8 player online is the biggest selling point for me...
Wipeout is the King of futuristic racing(except that crap on PS2). The game looks amazing and if gameplay holds true to the brilliant Wipeout formula then what we have here is an stunning lookin futuristic racer that blazes with so much speed it'll strain your eyes. Pussies need not apply though. This is no pick up and play, and the learning curve isnt easy so you actually have to work to be good but it feels so gooooooood once you get nice. WO:HD is a must have for me. Someone said Wipeout HD Looks like a PSN title, Really? because to me it looks like the best futuristic racer on the market BAR NONE. This puts that POS Fatal Inertia to shame in a real way. PSN content is very capable of blowing retail product out of the water. Rather Wipeout HD was packaged in a box for retail or on PSN(as it is), it will kick MAJOOOOOOR ass either way. Believe.
HD Wipeout @ 60fps? Oh dear Lord!
has big-toes for thumbs. I could beat this guy with my butt cheeks.
