An 85 year old man from Onalaska, Wisconsin has found himself in the Guinness World Record’s book after scoring numerous perfect games of bowling on Wii Sports.
Move all of the way to the right, spin all of the way to the left, get a strike. Repeat 2,850 times multiplied by the number of bowls in a game (I don't bowl. I don't know the technical terms, get off mah back).
That's still impressive when you think about it to even attempt it for that long. :p
2,850 perfect games, wow.
This would be more impressive if the game weren't so easy to exploit. It's not a simulator, so it's not that hard to bowl as hard as you can to get strikes through sheer force. My younger sister might be able to do the same thing provided she had enough dedication to play enough.
Yeah but this is an 85 year old, do you know how old that is? No offence to any 85 year olds.

Yeah, because an 85 year old will exploit a game on purpose... oh wait. He's not 13 years old, it's highly unlikely that this was achieved by an exploit.
why would an 85 year old man hack Wii bowling? lolol
I wouldn't say no 85-year-old could hack. Just because he's old doesn't mean he's dumb or innocent, but that's beside the point. The videos of the links I posted aren't hacks (though the last one is very cheap). They are examples of how easy it is to do well in bowling in Wii Sports (hopefully you actually watched them). It's not meant to be difficult or ultra-competitive. Following a simple pattern of gestures can net you a strike every time without much effort.
Lol! My grandad plays it too. But I don't think he's that good.
He's gotta be hacking. @below Hah. :D
it's Geohot's grandpa :)
HE HACKED IT xD lol I cant imagine that though. An 85 year old man hacking it.... or indeed an 85 year old man getting 2,850 games perfect!
I can't even get one perfect game...! Kudos to him though.
put the aimer a smidge to the right of the second dot on the right side of the ground then throw fast. it's a strike every time.
Thanks for the tip. Maybe now, I'll have a chance at crushing my friends! lol
Now that's hardcore playing, unless of course you're of the mind that thinks motion gaming can't be
I wish my grandpa could be this awesome.
Just be happy you get to see your grandpa. I wish I could meet both of my grandpas atleast once. But,that won't happen.
First gramps I never met and second one refuses to see anyone from my family, so I know how you feel mate.
I'm wondering how you got 3 disagrees. But anyways, I feel for ya bro.
Impressive stuff. Now that is guy is casually hardcore
Now thats what you really call an o.g [email protected]_d u will meet them in the next world dont worry about it just enjoy your time here on earth for now.
A pro grandpa!
See THIS is a record, not some obscure way to do things. :)
This is an impressive new, no matter how you look at it: First, I'm glad to know that there are other gamers than those hateable "hardcore gamers" that spend more time playing than yelling in the internet. A videogame guinnes record that doesnt belong to one of those. And, no matter how you llok at it: "85 years old man gets 2.850 games. Impressive." "85 years old is still able to hack a wii game. Impressive."
