Good review, basically nails all the important parts.

Pros: More content than any other version, including a multiplayer mode and 4 DS exclusive modes

Cons: Graphics take a noticeable hit, though it doesn't really dull the experience much.

The only thing the reviewer left out is price. It's a $20 game, which is a fine entry price for a DS game, but a great deal more than you would expect to pay for the iPhone or PC versions. Which is probably why there is so much extra content for the DS version in the first place.

The PC version of Plants Vs. Zombies is $20.

Yeah, you're right.
I've seen it for $15 but normal price is $20.

Still, the iPhone version is only 2.99.

Well, yes, I meant the MSRP is $20 for the PC version (GOTY version now.)

How a Plants vs. Zombies Game Died so a Star Wars Game Could Live (and Then Also Die)

From IGN: "In the second half of 2016, a small team of developers at PopCap Vancouver were gearing up for a presentation that would determine the future of their team, their project, and potentially an already-beloved franchise: Plants vs. Zombies.

For the past year, they had been working on a brand new Plants vs. Zombies adventure that would take the series in a very different direction. Though they had EA’s blessing for their work to that point, it wasn’t a guarantee the project would ultimately see the light of day, especially given how ambitious it was."
