PS3Vault Review: LittleBigPlanet 2

In 2008, LittleBigPlanet delighted gamers across the world by providing unparallel innovation and a tool set with infinite possibilities. I remember the jaw-dropping level where you didn’t even have to play. I remember the amusement that came from the shark survival levels or leading other players into an unfamiliar level. LittleBigPlanet is the pinnacle of user generated content, and so I was bit skeptical when they announced a sequel to a title that frankly didn’t need one. Does LittleBigPlanet 2 succeed in beating its predecessor? Hit the break for our verdict.

Even though this is a blog it is a really decent review. It was not real clear on why it was a perfect 10. I guess I just like numbers lol. I liked it though 8)

We like to think of ourselves as a bit more than a blog :D.

R_aVe_N2711d ago

Hey, I enjoyed it for what that is worth lol.

Did you read the part about 90+ years of content lol. You do bring up a very good point though. We are in-between a rock and a hard place right now since we a transferring all of our data to a new site. We are working on a more robust system, that will better demonstrate why a specific game earned that score (sub-scores and that type of thing), but for now you just have to read the review :P.

Glad you enjoyed the review though.

I wish you luck with that. I will check in on the site later when you get everything moved over.

Just a thought: ever think of getting someone to proofread your article? Or hell, read it over once or twice yourself.

If you want to be considered more than 'just a blog', start with your writing quality first.

Other than that... i'm looking forward to LBP2!

Man I cant wait for this game, it comes out this friday here in the uk. But I'm going shopping in town with the misses on friday, so I will purchase the special edition one from the store day 1

Amazing game.

But it have to wait a little more to be added in my collection, no money.

Or should I trade LBP 1 for LBP 2.

I don't ever give away my games. But, you simply don't need LBP1 after LBP2 unless you care for the SP levels.

I doubt you'll get much though. Every online level will be in LBP2, so if you don't care for the SP then trade it.

And don't worry, like wine, the game will just get better with age.

xyxzor2711d ago

I would hold on to it simply because no one is going to give you anything for it. The only thing you need for transferring your stuff over is the profile.

GodofSackboy2711d ago

Noooo, no no. I will keep my copy for ever. That game just did...something for me. It was so different, so alien, so eye-opening, and possibly my favourite game ever. I sold some of my old PS2 games, and now hugely regret it, and it's the same situation with this - in 10 years, this game will be rare and prized. I will keep it for the sentimental value.

You should too.

I'm still making levels for the first LBP (working on one a few hours ago in fact) - This improved sequel is literally going to keep me occupied for years.

fooltheman2710d ago

and your levels are gonna be transferred ^^ even the ones on your moon
