Now the New Year‘s dust has settled and people have recovered from their various festive illnesses (either self-inflicted or otherwise), Xboxer 360 asked each member of the staff to provide their top three most anticipated titles of 2011.
WTF is XBOX.ER? jesus.. enough of these clone sites. Whats next? XXXBOX 360? Triple X360? PlanetofXbox?
lol you will never get rid of things like this. Luckly they don't usually stay around long.
Wow thats nice of you.
Its nothing personal really... Honestly... That is just how it works. People look at sites like these, and compare them to actual big sites. Always best to be different that the rest in the end it gets you more hits.
But new sites are good. I mean im sick of seeing Destructoid, and IGN and other big sites thinking they are better than any other site, while the small ones just focus on a certain thing and take things at their own pace. @deadreckoning666 Im not the one who gave Deadly Premonition a 9/10......... I mean I know they weren't being serious with their review, but you need to be, or else people are going to be buying a game that is a waste of time, and Destructoid kinda tricked people into doing. (Destructoid had a sticker on the box giving it a 9/10) @TheLastGuardian Its an alright time to be a 360 owner, great time to be a ps3 owner, BRILLIANT TIME to be an owner of both.
"I mean im sick of seeing Destructoid, and IGN and other big sites thinking they are better than any other site" How do you know what IGN and Destructoid are thinking? Btw, its the gamers who give these sites power. A lot of people LOVE to spout negativity about IGN and Destructoid...yet I see the SAME people give them hits every week. Gamers willingly go to IGN and give them the power. IGN isn't shit without the people who put them on a pedastal. Notice how when reviews come out on N4G, IGN's reviews ALWAYS garner the most heat regardless of whether their positive or negative. Is IGN making gamers click on their articles? The only people who give us the impression that IGN is "better" than everyone else are the gamers who keep clicking on their articles....not IGN themselves. @Kran- That 9/10 is ONE man's opinion. If your ignorant enough to let ONE person's opinion influence what you buy...then ur gambling your money. No one forces anyone to listen to reviews. You have to be smart enough to understand that a 9/10 for one person maybe a 5/10 for another person. @TheLastGuardian- Finally, something you say that makes sense :)
Kind of an A hole comment but OK! I take it there's no room for new comers in the growing gaming market.
lol R_aVe_N very blunt as always. It is just an opinion no reason to get bent out of shape about it. I like new sites as well just wish they were more original is all. It does however let people know what type of site it is.
All multiplats and Gears 3. Great time to be a 360 owner.
Haha I would have to agree with R_aVe_N these sites are a dime a dozen. He was very direct about it though. Just one persons opinion anyways. In R_aVe_N's defense he does talk nicely about new sites. http://n4g.com/news/681281/... I guess he just has his own personal taste is all.
I really don't understand what is so bad about the comment. It is true! These sites are everywhere and gone in a few days.
The site sure has a lot of content to be a dime a dozen. I recall reading an article about the top video game voices and found it to be a good read. So it isn't that bad. I'd take this site over the no-name blog entries that get labeled as articles and passed through.
Xboxer360 has been around for many years, starting as a small one man band. The site has undergone a rebranding with a new logo designed and 8 staff currently work on the website in varying degrees. The XCN have since taken a shine to the site and currently xboxer360 finds itself among the XCN membership, thats Xbox community network, the key word being community! This is a site run by people who have day jobs and can not be alikened to IGN or professional sites, its run because the people who work on it enjoy gaming and talking about gaming
Id replace Warhammer and Lego Pirates for Forza 4 and Dragon Age 2. I know that the PS3 has a plethora of exclusives coming this year, [although Im sure a couple will be delayed to 2012], Xbox gamers still have a good lineup of multiplatform games. But multiconsole owners always have a win-win
agreed, except on replacing Warhammer, it looks good, just add those two you mentioned and remove anything with Lego in its name..ugh. Gears 3 and Mass Effect 3 definitely my top on this list.
The Last Guardian is the only PS3 exclusive that might get delayed. Most of the other PS3 exclusives are sequels to 2 year old games so the devs should have them all out this year.
Xboxer hahaha nice name Expect LOTS of people coming here and saying : "The PS3 will have all of these game too, so Xbox suck"
but it's true? at least the game part lol the 360 part is opinion. :P how ironic for the 360 gamers who had said Ps3 had no games.. looks like the shoe is on the other foot.
Gears of War 3 is what I'm looking forward too across all platforms.
Many great games coming out this year. One of the stronger years for gaming. I'm expecting alot of delays...just to many big titles. One of the titles I'm really hoping releases this year is Ghost recon. Graw 2 multi-player is a personal favorite and I'm hoping for some fresh gameplay...I am a little worried about all the space age weaponry tho... http://www.youtube.com/watc... Bulletstorm wasn't mentioned...surprising since it carries with it the beta key for the Gears Of War 3 multi-player beta... http://www.youtube.com/watc... COD will have another installment in November...created by the makers of the original Dead Space. Bodycount is another game I'm looking forward to from the creative director ( Stuart Black ) of Criterion's 2005 stellar FPS game Black. Love a game about guns and blowing up everything in the environment, especially with a multi-player element this time... http://www.youtube.com/watc... What about Crysis 2...this trailer looks all the business... http://www.youtube.com/watc... Also looking forward to E3 and seeing what M$ has planned for the future???...of course Gears 3 for the holidays... http://www.youtube.com/watc... http://www.youtube.com/watc... Hoping for a new console in holiday 2012. The title clearly says Xbox 360 most anticipated but it seems that the " other " guys want to complain more...lol...I guess they complain about everything with xbox in the title.
Oh Dear! And I didn't think they were serious when they called it the ShooterBox360 :p
As much as I love shooters, I have to agree that I miss the action adventure genre. You don't see to many good action adventure games now a days.
Yall are some cold MF's. I bet if this was a PS3 site, you guys would be okay with it. Fanboy-ism kills. It's science.
Nope I say the same thing about any site like this. There are plenty of PS3 sites like this as well. I am a gamer so no fanboy-ism here. I still clicked on the site to check them out.
what u talking about?!?!?!?
Im looking forward to Gears Of War3 but and that is about it.The only reason why I have kept my Xbox nothing really else on it thats exclusive. There all Multiplatform games on the list so I will keep playing my PS3 until GOW3 comes out.Thats why its smart to own all three consoles instead on just one.More variety.
for gears alone the 360 is worth renting, for the others PS3 is on standby
So we had the PS3 list yesterday and today it's Xbox 360's turn and tomorrow there will be another PS3 list and the next day one for Xbox 360 again, just like te last 3 months..
Thats it? ouch. Most of them are multiplat
Thanks captain obvious, here is a gift
Yeah and I get all my multiplat games on the 360, except for 2. I like the 360's controller better and the online community is more competitive to me.
Yeah and most of these multiplats are more exciting to me than most of the upcoming PS3 exclusives are. Go figure. Shrug.
Damn! I know I'll be getting at least 8 of those titles.
