It wasn't absurd at one point when developers decided to focus their attention more on consoles because that's were all the money is and not many good games were coming out for it. That's how it all started, but because of the popularity of digital distributions these past years they are working their ways back to it and the recent year has seen PC Gaming come back from it slump. But yeah, PC Gaming isn't dying.

Even then things aren't as great as they used to be. We are still getting console ports instead of PC version, ridiculous DRM, no modding support, no supports overall (lack of patches), updates you have to pay for (AKA DLC) and some games with no dedicated server.

PC Gaming generates boatloads more revenue than consoles.

Not just software, subscriptions, game points, ram, gpu's, cpu's, custom cases, 3d accessories, monitors

pc people have money to spend, we blow thru money just for fun, cosoles make okay money on like 4 titles a year, the pc has mmo's that are 5-6 years old that make more money annually than 85% of console games, lets be honest, 85% of games that come out are flops

how many games this year broke 2 million copis sold?? 15% is being generous
