But wait, i thought the live stream was limited to registered JPN Square Enix members ?

Well, it's nice of SE not block other livestreams.

Cloudberry2500d ago

Livestream better than the usual Square Enix's closed theater, I guess...

Eamon2500d ago

Does anyone know what time it starts on the 18th?

pedrami912500d ago

There are two parts of the conference:

January 18 at the Toho Cinemas theater in Roppongi Hills (meaning - Tokyo time)

one starts at 18:00 - 19:30
and the next starts at 20:00 - 21:30

Here's a fixed Time world clock for 18:00

And here's one fixed to 20:00

Eamon2500d ago (Edited 2500d ago )

thanks pedrami91. +Bubble.

Edit: What is the first and second conferences about?
Or is there just a half an hour break in between?

pedrami912500d ago (Edited 2500d ago )

The 1st part starts at 18:00 and ends at 19:30.

Then it's a half an hour break between 19:30 to 20:00.

And the 2nd part starts at 20:00 and ends at 21:30, the whole conference technically ends at 21:30.

The entire conference is about the Fabula Nova Crystallis. Agito, FF XIII versus, KH 3D, Dissidia Duodecim. And if we're lucky, we might see some new game announcements (FF XIII-2, FF7 remake ?, Final Fantasy Type - 0)

I hope this clears everything.

Wait a second this SE event is next week right?

Didn't Major Nelson say there was going to be a new 360 game announced next week......

FiftyFourPointTwo2500d ago (Edited 2500d ago )

My guesses:
1. FFXIII-2 announcement.
2. Versus goes multiplat. (I hope not)

thereapersson2500d ago

We haven't heard anything of Versus in quite some time. I bet Microsoft some how managed to get Versus to go multiplatform during the silence.

Raendom2500d ago

Yeah... Could be going multiplatform. Hope it does because I won't be buying it, and with all the genuinely good games out this year... Will be nice to save the money.

Capt-FuzzyPants2500d ago

It is on Tuesday in Japan. That means Monday night in the US i think. Im not sure though.

rrw2500d ago

i hope the announced ff7 remake

Eamon2500d ago

There's a 1% chance of that happening.

But there's likely going to be an FFXIII-2 announcement instead.

Hell, I'd be happier if they announced FFXV or a FFVI remake.

EVO-OM3GA2500d ago

FF7 Remake is definetly happening, when it will be revealed maybe this year or next.

laaakokaracha2500d ago

chances are higher to win the lottery than FF7 remake...

sorry wont happen..they have got so many games in development...

Plus SE fears remaking FF7 and failing...its so obvious

Hozi892500d ago

What time exactly will this be streamed?

I see type 1-3 and I think of another compilation of 3 "Type" Final Fantasy games...just like FF13, FFVersus 13, FFAgito 13.

Hopefully they also announce that they will go back to the old ways of doing things rather than these crazy FF gameplay elements.

Lucreto2500d ago (Edited 2500d ago )

I wonder will they announce a Final Fantasy Collection at the event.

Versus is going multiplatform plan for the worst and hope for the best is my policy on this title. I just don't want to give any fanboys any ammo.

the final fantasy colection was let slip by sony marketing man a couple of months back but seems to have not made much fuss on the net so hopefully an official announcment will happen there.

Lucreto2500d ago

I remember the slip but there was no offical word. Final Fantasy is the main attraction on the event so it would be as good a time as any.

yea think your right, hopefully they do as would like to play X in hd. and hopefully we get an estimated release for vs

Eamon2500d ago

A collection would be pretty awesome.

I'm willing to guess not all FFs from 1 - 10 will be in a single collection.

Probably a SNES collection then a PS1 + FFX collection.
