I'm still not decided on this. I want it for the local MP but I can play online for free on PC...but this one has a lot more modes, just not sure if those are gimmicky or not.

I have $40 to spend on the store, I guess the big question is if I can get $40 worth of better/more original content.

its tetris same as the old but with several new play modes. I used to play Tetris on the NES so it was more for nostalgia purposes. Overall its not a bad game, the graphics are sharp and the ability to swap pieces makes for an interesting change as well as the additional play modes. Picture a dr mario/columns type challenge with some game modes. Some of the game modes have the board moving around as your pieces fall which makes for a more challenging/frustrating time but imo worth the ten bucks.

If you like the old games Tetris/Dr Mario etc ... give it a chance, if not either wait for the psn plus treatment or stick to the old school way of play.
