RipTen: Let me start by saying that Nvidia did not want to let me do this. They didn’t think it would look right – they didn’t think it would run smoothly. They were wrong.
I. Want. This. Phone.
Me too. My phone started lagging with Angry Birds. ANGRY BIRDS. COME ON.
This phone runs angry birds on your TV in full 1080p! Unnecessarily big and angry birds FTW!
My HTC EVO 4G does this lol. It also HDMI outputs.
I remember when phones were simply for calling people. *old man voice*
I remember when game-sites were the place to get your information on games and share game-experiences with fellow gamers without arguing what computer they played it on or what company they had stock in. `older mans voice`
I remember back when Zack Morris carried around a cell phone that was the size of a brick. *old man voice*
remembering `saved by the bell` is bad enough as it is. EDIT: I still get nightmares when I watched MTV and think I saw Slater.
I remember when cell phones were the size of a brick, without the 8 inch screw on antena! BTW what is Epic Citadel?
I remember when there weren't any cell phones!! OMG I'm old!!!
Impressive i suppose.
YOU SUPPPOSE?! Come on dude! Be more enthusiastic about this! PS: I'm messing with you :-P
Is this the real HBG Kreyg? Either way, this is damn impressive. A phone looking better than the Wii. lol
I still don't understand why the Wii can't do HD, or have more than 512MB of internal memory, like seriously!? Wtf!? My ipod has 8gb, so it wasn't a form factor thing, and it can run better looking games, nintendo's decision just didn't make sense on that.
The Wii was designed back in 2004. Back then the processors were bigger and slower. Hotter and more power hungry. These new devices are just using currently existing tech. Sure, Nintendo didn't go with the best the time period had to offer, but it still used good tech.
But the wii came out later, surely something could have been done.
The graphics are better than in the WII o_o
Damn you Verizon for only giving us the inferior LG Revolution...stupid iphone deals..Droid Bionic for me prolly. Dual-core gaming performance ftw!
Cool but do I really need it? I mean, if I have a super fast gaming pc, a console, and a psp2 when it comes out, why would I need my phone to have good gaming graphics?
Lol inbe4 people think this phone can render that at 1080p.
LG is accelerating its Android Optimus line with a new Flagship phone featuring 8 megapixel camera. The phone features 1080p video-recording, a dual-core processor powered by ARM9 based Nvidia Tegra2. The phone would be arriving early 2011 (Jan or Feb) and could be the first dual core phone with 1080p Video recording. The phone is called Star internally, however, the real name would be something well suited in Optimus series. The phone would feature Android gingerbread and would be vanilla version of Android with minor touches. T-Mobile LG Optimus 2X 1080p HDMI Output and Gaming Demo http://www.youtube.com/watc... I mean just look at this thing..it's a down right beast for a Handheld..it has the same cache as the xbox360 on it's processor Die. too funny an it's for handheld! well would you look at that; well I guess it can...:P well. video record or out put it's resolution @1080p yes it cannot render resolution's that high but it can do 1080p output..:P
Did say nothing about it not capable of doing 1080p output. Specs are really interesting for a mobile phone. Do you have any links of what Tegra 2 performance are like because not all ghz are created the same you need to know about how a processor does stuff what pipeline it uses and stuff. But encoding movies is way different then running a game. But should be interesting to see what the psp 2 can do. @Seraphcaeli do you even know what is said.
again, another nintendo device will be left in the dust when it comes to graphics, and that is the 3ds,maybe the 3d glassesless makes up for it lol.
Agree if you think the best part was when they played Angry Birds! Also, I guess that Epic Citadel thing is cool. Angry Birds!
an it's going into smartphone's,,lol An there is still people that do not think Smartphones would not make good handheld game platform's ..lol this is not just boasting this is for real.
