‘Heads-Up’ Game Store Update 12th January 2011

Ross McGrath writes:

"Welcome back all, I hope everyone has been settling back into work okay and everyone’s sticking to their New Year’s resolutions!

Another fairly small update this week with a few highlights I wanted to point out. After last week’s sudden removal from the schedule, the Angry Birds mini does finally make it onto the PSN Store this week, so make sure you give those pigs what for. Also, we have a genuine PSone Classic in the form of Tomb Raider Chronicles – yes, we now have the first and last games in the PSone Tomb Raider series… the middle ones are on their way soon too. And don’t forget that this week we are providing you with the DC Universe Online subscriptions for one, three or six months of game time, so when your free month runs out we’ve got you covered." Dear god Square Enix and Ubisoft are going out of their tiny minds with pricing.

£7.99 for Tomb Raider Chronicles - not even one of the better TRs.

And £11.99 of (permanently reduced) shovelware from Ubi.

Thanks fellas.
