The bottom line is this: if you want the best-looking game on the PS3, arguably the best-acted game of all time, or a game that reminds you why playing games are fun in the first place, get Heavenly Sword. GamerNode can't (and won't) try to convince you to purchase it, because despite how much they love it, they really can't justify spending 60 bucks on a game with little replay value and such a short length. They will, however, ask that you at least rent this. Heavenly Sword is the best game available on the PS3, and easily the greatest rental title of all time.
The PlayStation 3 may not have been the strongest generation for Sony, but there were still some diamonds in the rough that deserve a revisit as PS5 remasters.
Even if they could just remaster and put on PSVR2, some would still look great as VR titles and could do a whole lot to bolster the headset w these exclusives! I'd imagine the investment of reworking these titles into VR would be way less than building new games from the ground up, and they could be amazing experiences, and VR often makes flat games feel fresh again. The Resistance and Killzone games are particularly what I want to see!!
The time is perfect for a resistance fall of man game campaign coop multiplayer
Resistance was ok but Warhawk and Starhawk was better and kept me coming back for almost a decade of fun and petty revenge on the loud mouth unskilled players 🤣
Edit I loved capture the flag dropping the pot on the flag carrier was extremely satisfying as well as transforming your plane in bot form and stumping them to death 😱

Dante's inferno... an excellent GoW inspired game. So sad the sequels will never be.
heavenly sword was such a short, but amazing game. that game should be prime material to be made into a download only remaster.
I really enjoyed Castlevania, but struggled to get into it again reattempting it a few years back. I still think it does another of things well; story, presentation, level varietily and art style at least. Gameplay maybe has not stood test of time unfortunately which makes it a chore to get through.
Just finished the game. Its an excellent game. Loved every minute of it only thing that killed it was the length. Simply put the game is too short. Other than that its an excellent game.
But I see what hes saying.
Ill probably play it again, but letting my friends play it when they come over is where Ill get my replay value.
the contributor of this article is no doubt on drugs.
Im definatley gonna buy it, cus i know i will want to watch the cutscenes again. Is there an option to rewatch them without playing the game again, like resistance?
First this - "if you want the best-looking game on the PS3, arguably the best-acted game of all time, or a game that reminds you why playing games are fun in the first place, get Heavenly Sword."
Then, this - "GamerNode can't (and won't) try to convince you to purchase it, because despite how much they love it, they really can't justify spending 60 bucks on a game with little replay value and such a short length."
By that way of thinking all the good games, in every format are always rent. Example - Bioshock, really nice game, goog graphics, finish once, well, never played again, good rent. Final Fantasy VII, well i will not talk about it, everybody knows it's a good game, finish once, humm, another rent ? really are this guys payed to say stuff like that ? i which i were the manager of Game or GameStage, would be really happy with the rents...
