Gamersmint writes : Announced last August – just days before the start of the GamesCom 2010 – STALKER 2 has been relatively silent. Developer GSC Game World are out of their silence, however, to move some information through a series of questions and answers.
The official fact sheet of STALKER 2 reveals that the game has been delayed again and will launch in Q1 2024 for PC and Xbox Series S|X.
Environments so gorgeous you'll forget you're in a supernatural hellscape.
Great that they’re continuing to release updates in spite their nation’s plight. Fingers crossed for a 2023 release.
In memory of fallen heroes. The new trailer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is here.
All I know is on PC the stuttering from Unreal Engine 4 better not be present in this game using UE5, or I will pass on this game. I wouldn't take it for free, if issues like that are present.
Big respect to the devs, this game looks great overall. Still hoping they will improve the graphics because it is still looks current gen.
2023 is surprising actually. The last I heard it got delayed indefinitely.
Hopefully it still makes it out this year.
This game is gonna be awesome.
PC version is the way to go for me
shame they said its getting watered down for console lol
directx11 for me thank you.
Q:What features have been removed/compromised in the PC version due to the multiplatform release?
A:Since we develop primarily on PC, you won’t see any compromises in the PC version. The key difference between the PC and console versions will be the beauty of graphics (meaning PC will offer more of visual effects).
Hope it has better bullet hit detection than the first one did.
My only concern is the shooting system,as hard as it seemed at first, every firefight felt satisfyingly; something I hadn't experienced since the first COD4. I hope the shooting stays the same
As for the dx11, didn't COP use a modified engine that let it use dx11?
