XMNR: Newegg.com is celebrating their tenth anniversary with a sale that includes not only computer parts and peripherals but games for the PS3 and Xbox 360 such as DC Universe Online and a 12-month subscription card for Xbox LIVE.
I bought my 52" Toshiba Regza LCD 1080p 120hrz HDTV from Newegg for about $1200 to include shipping last year. I like this site.
Yep, one of the first places I go to when looking for tech deals along with Amazon.
just be CAREFUL with their LCD return policies, especially with dead pixels.... they allow an ungodly amount of dead pixels per sq inch or something BEFORE they consider it worth a return... honestly with the defect rate they are quoting, you would be some p'd off if you had to keep the set. I had one PC LCD, they would not take back because of the above, so I am careful buying panels from them
I just bought Super Street Fighter IV for $17.99 shipped on Newegg. Awesome site.
.... Say what!? DC Universe for the Xbox 36... Oh, right.. I was gonna' say... DC Universe Online isn't on the Xbox 360.
The comments here looks like these selling bots on IGN.
They actually do.
Can you not praise a site for its deals? Conspiracy much.
Funny, since DC Universe isn't on 360.
YA I was about to say, lol. The day in-game subcriptions smashes into XBoX Live membership dues is going to be messy. Who wants to get double charged, no one. Of course its already happening I guess, if I bought NFS Hot Pursuit used for my XboX 360 and wanted to play online that would count as a double. :-(
Grave, final Fantasy 11 (X1) is available on the 360 like 2 years ago.
@enkeixpress, @GigaGaia - No where does it say that DC Universe is on the Xbox 360. NewEgg is running deals on different PS3 and Xbox 360 games plus the PC version of DCUO as well as the Xbox LIVE card. Did you bother to click through and read to see that or did you just feel like making a pointless comment?
Good deal on DC Universe Online...
Not bad, seeing as how it JUST came out.
I so much wished there was a 3 month trial with these types of games..DCU... I would gladly take the plunge. I just dont want to fork over 15 bucks per month until they get the game stable
$15/month just to play one single game is ridiculous.
look at world of warcraft then look at your comment dumbass
Yeah i bet you broke ass.
Trust me, after playing the beta, the free month included with DCUO is more than enough to satisfy you. I figured, once I'm able to get the game, I'll just enjoy the free month, and if there is more content by the time that month is up, I'll renew. It's one of the few MMO's I've played where I don't feel obligated to keep playing the game, just because I'm paying for it. You can reach level 30 (the game's initial level cap) rather quickly. By the time my month with the beta was over, I was level 18, and that was because I didn't play it much, as my wife would play also. She had about 3 or 4 characters up to at least level 12 or 13 by the time the beta was over. It's a good game. What it really needs is some promotion with PS+, like a discounted monthly fee if you are a PS+ member. like $10 a month or something, instead of $15.
"I figured, once I'm able to get the game, I'll just enjoy the free month, and if there is more content by the time that month is up, I'll renew." sheesh, i would hope there is more than a months worth of content included in a MMO.
Well, I'm sure there is, the point I was trying to make is that it's more than possible to get your fill of a game in 30 days. If I want to come back for month 2, I can pay the $15 subscription fee. At least I have that full free month of enjoying the game. By that point, I think it's safe to say that you'll have decided if the game is worth that $15 extra a month. SOE has already said that they plan on monthly updates that have new content, but we'll just have to wait and see how that pans out.
