Real barn burner of a week for content. Oh well, leaves more time to hack one of my Ps3's and play some nes games I suppose.

decimalator2811d ago

barn burner as in, they were too busy burning barns to release anything decent this week?

I just want some decent PSP games FFS

Balt 2811d ago (Edited 2811d ago )

I hear ya on the psp front. My wife has been wanting Toy Story 3 for months now -- She has a psp-go, by the way. (lamest choice of models) They have the DLC for it on the network, yet no game. Go figure. Sony's brilliance shining through in spades.

edit to below:

I don't really care. My name is Baltis and I've got plenty of money to do what I want when I want. I'm also pretty sure I won't be hacking my main unit anytime soon. I've got too much invested into my account to lose it over something stupid like playing nes games. It was a general comment in the midst of all the hacks going around.

Close_Second2811d ago

Toy Story 3 was released on PSN as part of the Xmas specials.

The irony of your comment. Saying you will hack your Ps3 and then also saying you want more psp content. you know the reason why psp isn't getting more support on the games front right? The short sighted stupidity of gamers these days.

pixelsword2811d ago (Edited 2811d ago )

Confessing that you are going to hack your PS3s + having your PSN name (Baltis)on your profile = not wise; even if that name isn't on the PS3 you are going to hack, I'm sure Sony wouldn't mind banning two PS3s.

Omegasyde2811d ago

You know he could of been sarcastic (which I know is hard to detect on the internet)

He meant he was going to hack his ps3 because there was nothing new for him to play this week. (joke)

We both know Sony will be bring the ban hammer as soon as they figure it out.

jidery2811d ago

It's ok, i just reported him, making Sony's job easier

doctorstrange2811d ago

Better be coming out soon, really excited for that game

Sev2811d ago

It was delayed again for some reason. Probably a huge mess at this point.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO2811d ago (Edited 2811d ago )

Well, the game is really taking shape, you can see the Beta Gameplay video from iwaggle3D site:

funny story.

ironically, the developer's studio is literally under siege. nobody in or out, game included. ;-)

Sev2811d ago

Empty this week on PSN. At least retail will keep us busy.

TooTall192811d ago

Next week is gonna be HUGE with the Scott Pilgrim discount and Modern Combat: Domination!

Taggart4512811d ago

Some stuff will mysteriously show up in there that none of us knew about that'll blow our minds away.

Or not. I don't need to spend any more money anyway.

Sev2811d ago

There's always a couple things that show up that wasn't expected, but I think this will still be one of the worst weeks in a very long time on PSN. There aren't even any miniS confirmed.

wolfehound222811d ago

Hmm not much, oh well still have a major backlog to take care of.

decimalator2811d ago

I have a backlog from 2009, not to mention 2010

Sev2811d ago (Edited 2811d ago )

Agreed. Maybe not 2009, but as far back as FFXIII

@below - crap, me too. After playing the Dead Space 2 demo, I'm sold on both games. But I want to play the first one, first.

The only problem is, I might not ever get enough time where my daughter isn't home so I can turn the volume on my receiver way up. I'm so spoiled by my audio setup, that I completely refuse to play games with great audio atmosphere unless it's at least 30 volume on my receiver, which is loud enough to scare the neighbors.

BigWoopMagazine2811d ago

Ditto on the enormous backlog, so I'm okay with this, but I am still anxiously awaiting PJShooter 2.

@Sev - If you're cranking it up on Dead Space, it'll scare everything in hearing range, for sure. The sounds in that game got me constantly, I kept thinking something was creeping around in my house. Some people claim it isn't scary, but with the right lighting in an empty 4 bedroom house that my roommates claim is haunted, it gets ya.

Dac2u2811d ago

Get some quality headphones or canal phones and you'll be able to hear every eerie sound. A game like that deserves to be played with the best possible sound setup and if you can't play it loud, play it with headphones.

Sev2811d ago

@Dac2u

Thanks for the advice. I've tried headphones before actually, but I didn't like feeling so disconnected from my surroundings.

I may give it another try.
