Singularity is only $19.99 on newegg.com. If you haven't checked out this awesome game now is the perfect time. US only.
More than worth it. Though this soviet Bioshock-clone has it's fair share of issues, the overall experience is solid and the game is 9/10 in the fun alone. This is a great price to a very good game. I loved playing Singularity and would give it an 8/10 for having a bunch of minor issues that keep it from being AAA.
Agreed Singularity is a brilliant game but it does have some things which could of been improved on I wish that instead of the blasts of waves from the tower which sent you back and forward in time were random instead of fixed, so, for example, enemies would be in places that you thought were safe. I mean that would probably cause some issues but I'm sure they would of found a way round it :)
I paid £7 for this game today and so far I'm not exactly impressed, it's filled with so many classic cliches and it's very generic. Also, Nolan North is in this game, it's like he's in every fricking video game now.
Fun campaign, real thrill ride despite been a tad short. Also tonnes of fun been able to play as the enemies within the game in multiplayer. 8.5 for me.
The game feels so old school, and that is not a bad thing. after all Raven software are an old school FPS developer. The game is fun and worth every dime of 20.00, I can see why it has been compared to bioshock in feel but, I still think that it stands on it's own merits. Also, the default control scheme is quite sane and comfortable as well as the movement of the character, no weird experimental ways to make the character move here.
I've played it already. It's pretty damn fun game. Short, but it's a fun game.
I'd initially rented Singularity, going into it with the bias that it was just going to be a rehash of Timeshift but it turned out to be quite a bit better than that. It turns out that I quite liked it, even enjoyed the multiplayer despite some obvious server issues early in its life. I'm sure it could have been much better if Activision had bothered to market it. If more people knew about it, there might be the sales necessary to warrant a sequel. In the end, after a week's rental I bought it. I thought it was worth $50, so it's a steal at $20. Incidentally, my profile pic is a trophy image from the game. :)
Finally!! I've been waiting for the price to go down a little, never thought it would drop to 20! I just went and bought it on newegg.com :) Thanks guys for posting this!
Wish canada would get these kinds of prices.. lowest around here is 40 and our dollar is equal.
SOLD! I can't pass this up at $20 w/ free shipping.
I only order my games off of Amazon, but since i have no real interest in this game, it doesn't bother me :)
