Yep. I love the Resistance series. The atmosphere is what does it for me (the storyline has yet to TRULY impress me). I just love how Insomniac strikes a perfect balance between tense, creepy, and interesting at the same time.
I agree with you (see the counter?) but that's not saying much since I didn't care for Killzone 2 that much. Also confess to being somewhat of an Insomniac fanboy and liked Resistance 1 better than R2.
3d, motion control, bigger levels, idk that seems like pushing something. Nothing "new" ok gotcha. Hope you know Killzone 3 ain't the second coming of Christ.
I don't know what you mean by anything new to push fps genre forward but its like the only game to offer unique controls which i very much enjoyed, a lot of people disliked the lagg but i thought it made it felt more epic, felt like i was definitely in the warzone. It was the weighty feeling that kept me playing.
now motion control they are not really innovating! just using it what it was meant to be used for!! Whatever getting both Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 don't give a dam about "pushing" the FPS genre just give me a solid game with Ps3 graphics and I'm good.

A preview from the vga trailer, hope to see more from the game soon, it looks a bit different from other resistance due to the new Resistance engine made by insomniac. This game can be one of the biggest surprise of the year.
At least they are bringing back the weapon wheel. It might not be a totally crap Halo clone now.
edit: touch the poo, you know you want to. There's no denying that entire weapon ideas and gameplay for resistance was ripped straight out of halo. Oh and anyone who loves resistance but hates halo is a bit of a hypocrite. I'm not to fond of either to be honest.
I mean just wow!! what else can i say? I enjoyed R2 very much, the online was very addicted, Especially the co operative. I loved the SP, R3 looks like its going to be another blast, I seriously can't wait.
Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, Resistance 3... WoW thats a beast line up already and i haven't even mentioned other big named PS3 exclusive.
Times like this, I am happy that my PS3 hasn't broken down once in 3-4 years! and i SURE don't want it to by the time these games come down
I am not sure why everyone thinks that every shooter where you fight monsters or alien being is a 'Halo ripoff'. Show me exactly were in Resistance weapons is a rippoff of Halo. Did they also have spiked granades, guns that shoot through walls, sniper rifles that slow down time and weapons that shoot around corners? Anyway I am not sure why there alway has to be these big comparisons between KZ and Resistance. KZ3 is coming out in March, Resistance is coming out in the fall. Plenty of time to decide if you want one or the other

I think best ps3 games 2011:Resistance 3>Killzone 3>Uncharted 3.
Many ps3 gamers hype U3,and say GOTY.....very cool game yes,but not big different U2.
Maybe Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 better games-This two ps3 FPS awesome.
