It's rare for an RPG to focus solely on one class of character, but that's what Clockstone is attempting to do with Avencast: Rise of the Mage. This action RPG with a bent towards real-time combat places you in the role of a promising young student at an elite school of magic known as Avencast. A pretty concise title, then, but if you're thinking Hogwarts then think again as the setting here could have come right out of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
