No 'big bang' for Home launch

Sony's Jamie MacDonald has revealed to Eurogamers's sister site, GamesIndustry.biz that the release of social networking service Home will be a low key affair, following an invite only public beta. "One of the challenges that we have is to get over the mentality of Home being your typical product launch," said MacDonald. Sony has yet to give a definite release date, but when unveiling the service at this years Game Developers' Conference "autumn" was mentioned.

And you are? anyways Home will be a dissapointment for whoever is "NOT" into hanging out with friends and having some creativity online wile not playin a game.

This wont be a dissapointment. Stop being a fanboy we know you are scared this will kill your little Live thingy. If you are in to hanging with friends, playing games, having fun and doing this FREE then you will love HOME.

The news post is saying that the open beta is going to be be released in the next couple of months..

Wasn't Home supposed to be released in october.. 1.5month at the max? Or have I missed a "delayed" post?
