Four W's: Who, Where.... and one H of a "Final Fantasy VII Remake"

This article won't throw more fuel to that fiery topic. Instead, this one assumes that a remake will eventually come to be.....

Therefore, this blogger suggests that the following people be placed in the inner circle with the following roles:

Yoshinori Kitase - Director
Yusuke Naora - Art Director
Kazushige Nojima - Scenario Writer
Nobuo Uematsu - Musical score composer

(Who, Where, What, When and How of a FFVII Remake)

The story is too old to be commented.

Square-enix won't talk about the Remake at their TGS show. Instead Sony will introduce it.

I hated ff7 and Hope to god they Remake chrono trigger instead, I would much rather see that remake then ff7.

I don't understand how anyone could hate this game at all. Chrono Trigger was probably the best game for the SNES followed by Mario RPG. But in my opinion FF7 blows Chrono Trigger away in the story department. I don't really care about graphics, FF7 had good cutscenes and all but the in game graphics are funny as hell if you look at them today. I mean, most everyone in the game has Popeye arms. Giant squarish popeye arms.

that petition online that was 20,000 a couple days ago is now 25,177 people. This is just going to happen. If Sony doesn't realize what this would do they are just plain stupid.

An FF7 remake would be pointless. Take this into consideration: all of the locales and environments were in 2d, with models scaling into and out of perspective. This limited every environment to a basic path. Midgar at the begining of the game was pretty much the most linear portion of the game, and yet it was still very explorative.

Now, if you take Midgar and blow it up into full 3d, you'd wind up with EXPONENTIALLY longer gameplay. If it took me around 12hrs to get through to the portion where you first travel on the world map, then Midgar in 3d would take me at least 50-75% longer. Now make EVERY SINGLE SCREEN IN THE WHOLE GAME into 3d, and you'd wind up with Morrowind-esque length. It wouldn't be the same.
